For positioning as an impartial information portal the management of Construct
Data Publishers a.s. decided to make the FAIR Guide independent
and not affiliated to any organizer or marketing association.
With the “Quick Search” function on the main page of FAIRGuide you can directly query fairs, exhibitors or organizers of more than 250 countries. The detailed search refines the query through additional search criteria.
The reorganisation of the Construct Data Publishers server farm was completed in the actual stage of expansion in early December. Not just data base server but also web servers were replaced with more powerful systems. The Fair Guide SQL data base server was replaced by a multi-processor system with a lot more RAM. Despite permanent increasing amount of data the access to the data base and the load time of the portal was accelerated definitely.
The Free Fax Service is provided by Construct Data is a separate page where the internet visitor can send a request to the event organizer directly via fax. ConstructData assumes the costs of the fax. Only available if the advertiser has a fax machine.
The FAIR Guide, published by Construct Data, is one of the largest on-line publication to offer an overview of fairs, exhibitors and organizers. It is classified per activity and country and currently counts about 13.000 fairs, 4.700 organizers and more than 2.700.000 exhibitors.
Construct Data Publishers team revolved many goals to keep the customers’ satisfaction on a high level: e.g. the implementation of a news-center is planned – just to mention one example.
The customer service center of Construct Data Publishers does periodic customer surveys concerning design, functionality and programming of the online directory. Customers confirmed unanimously that the FairGuide pages are clearly arranged and the user can easily find what he’s looking for. Adequate navigation bars are embedded in a clearly arranged navigation structure. The majority of interviewed persons were convinced by the strong shortened server responding times, which were achieved by enhancing the powerful server architecture.
